Running A Madrasa

If we want to reach real peace in this world, we should start educating children. Younusia Educational and Welfare Charitable Trust runs an orphanage madrasa where 150 orphan and destitute students live and receive a quality education. They are provided with daily food, clothing, books, periodicals, and medicines completely free of cost. Our mission is to nurture and empower these children, helping them grow into responsible, educated citizens who can contribute positively to society.

Helping the Helpless

Younusia Educational and Welfare Charitable Trust is dedicated to important social service work, focusing on supporting vulnerable orphans and widows. We provide essential assistance by distributing food, clothes, and other daily necessities to those in need. Our mission is to bring relief, comfort, and hope to the helpless and marginalized sections of society, helping them live with dignity and security. We strive to create a caring, compassionate community for all.

Scholarship to Deserving Needy Students

We have noticed that many deserving children in the rural areas around Basirhat face obstacles in accessing education. To support them, we are also providing financial assistance through scholarships to deserving and needy students. Our goal is to remove financial barriers, encourage learning, and help these children build a brighter future through quality education and strong moral values.

Pure Drinking Water Supply

Having access to pure drinking water is a real concern for many needy widows in our local villages. To address this serious issue, we have installed several tube-wells in different villages around our area. These tube-wells provide safe and clean drinking water, helping to improve health and ease difficulties for widows and other needy people. Our aim is to ensure basic necessities and support a healthier, more dignified life for all.

Running a Mission School

Younusia Iqra Mission, a mission school is run under Younusia Educational and Welfare Charitable Trust,  where our children from classes IV to VII receive general (modern) education as per the curriculum of the West Bengal Government. Alongside this, they also get basic Islamic education, including learning the Holy Quran Shareef, Namaz, and the Arabic language (Alhamdulillah). Our aim is to provide a balanced education that nurtures both academic growth and moral values.

Ramadan Food Kits Distribution

Ramadan is a sacred and joyous festival for our community, but sadly, many people still struggle during this time. To bring them relief, we support helpless widows by distributing essential items like rice, cooking oil, sugar, dal, dates, and more according to our capacity. In 2021, we were able to help 350 widows with these supplies, allowing them to observe Ramadan with dignity, peace, and a sense of belonging.

Women Empowerent

We have also started a self-income program for women to help them become self-reliant and empowered. Through this initiative, some widows have been provided with sewing machines, stationery goods, and sarees to help them open small shops. This support enables them to earn a livelihood, build confidence, and live with dignity. Our aim is to create opportunities for women to stand on their own feet and secure a better future.

Blanket Distribution

In winter, many people in marginalized communities struggle to survive the harsh cold without a proper blanket to keep them warm. Understanding this hardship, we have distributed a total of 3,500 blankets among orphans and widows this year. This small effort helps protect them from the severe cold and brings them comfort and relief. Our mission is to ensure that no one is left to suffer in the winter and everyone feels cared for and supported.

Mass-Marriage Ceremony

A landmark initiative by Younusia Charitable Trust is the mass marriage ceremony for needy young men and women, organized every year since 2012. In this program, poor individuals from both Muslim and non-Muslim families can participate without bearing any cost.

So far, a total of 150 couples have been helped completely free of charge and provided with various gifts and ornaments. Through this effort, we not only support families financially but also protect poor Muslim youth from misleading campaigns by Kadianys, who try to weaken their precious Imaan. This program ensures that they can start their married life with dignity, stability, and strong faith.
